What makes a friend? It is someone who can make you laugh when you're down and to me Karla was that. Karla was the type of person who always put others before herself. She was full of life. Karla had a big personality and a bigger laugh that you could hear no matter where you were. Karla had a heart of gold and so much to offer and through our friendship I was honored. Karla touched us all in different ways and what I will remember most is her smile. Life is full of hardships but Karla took on the world by overcoming the obstacles that can sometimes hold people back. Now, she's looking down on us laughing and smiling but rest assured Karla your legacy will carry on and I'll pick up where you left off. May you rest in peace my friend!
