Here's a pray that I wrote:


Dear Lord,

We thank you for all of your blessings especially for our families as another holiday season has come upon us. This year is no different than the last. We are so thankful for not only being a part of a big family that helps each other out when times are tough but also the friendships we have within our family. 

Also we are thankful for the men and women who are still putting their lives on the line day in and day out to protect your blessing of freedom without being asked to. 

Please also help us remember in our prayers those families who may not be so lucky as we are to have a warm meal every night or even have a soft bed to sleep in.  Help us not to take these things for granted. Inspire and challenge us to help those that are in need during this Christmas season,  because after all isn't that what Christmas is all about.
