"Onward to Notre Dame"

A week after I turn 30 I spent the weekend with my Aunt Julie and Uncle Pat for our 19th season of Notre Dame football . Now, usely we watch the Irish on TV but not this season . This  season we were going to South Been to see the final game between Notre Dame and Michigan . The day started with my Uncle Pat and I having a heart to heat talk with my Grandfather who was a big Notre Dame. Now, I won't tell what was said. However, after my uncle and I took a look a good long look at his photo the day had more meaning. We left at 11:06AM, for the biggest day of my life ,little did I know what the day was holding for me.We got to Notre Dame at 2:45PM and I saw the gladdened dome I had  to ask if I was  dreaming. Kickoff wasn't until 7:30pm so I spent the whole day with aunt and uncle in South  Been.  At 5:15P.M.  the players come walking by lead by Coach Kelly the smile on my face kept growing and growing as I met formal Notre Dame QB Tommy Rese. Then at 6:45 P.M. we made our way inside Notre Dame for big game from seeing watching on TV to being there live is the best thing ever. Before my uncle and I went to take our sits, we took a moment finally my Grandfather's hat was handed to me, and just the sun was shinning down on us we slowly made our way to our sits with my Grandfather's hat on my lap all game long.
