Today my Uncle Pat and I went to Central to give the soon to be grads their keys. Here are some highlights from a remarkable day. One that I know I won't forget, and I know they'll always will remember forever:
What can I say to a football program that has giving me so much and has meant so much to me over the years. My uncle Pat started bringing me to CC football games many years ago. Our tradition is to come to the opening game whenever possible and then always come to the Whitmer game. I am a 2005 graduate of Whitmer but long ago converted to an CC fighting Irish fan. When I don’t make it to the games I will always listen to them on the radio and watch them on TV.
It's has been an honor to see all of you young boys grow to become young men. I am very grateful for your kind hearts and the respect you have shown me over the years and for allowing me to have a front row seat on the sidelines to witness some great games and some great last second wins. For years you guys as a team took me in and made me a part of your team. Let me also say thank you to all coaches who took the time to say hi to me - it meant a lot to me.
Now in just a few days you will be graduates and the next chapter of your life is just around the corner. And no matter what it is you do, whether or not you continue to play football, or become a future president, I have a few key words advice for you.

The Key to reaching your dreams is putting in the hard work that it takes to reach them, just as you have learned as being a part of this team
The Key to happiness is not what you get in life, its what you give in Life
So I hope you remember these keys that I am sharing with you today as you move to the next chapter of your life
